ENG220Y (Shakespeare): revised revised second term schedule

||Essay 2||

The tutorial presentations: content:

Rob has described these on a separate sheet, which you received when you wrote the in-class essay on November 16th. (If you've lost the sheet, it's up on the course web page: http://cpercy.artsci.utoronto.ca/courses/220tut.htm). The U of T counselling and learning skills service has a good handout on Giving oral presentations!

We'll also use the tutorial time to discuss the seminars, and to discuss other aspects of the play. If you're not presenting, come prepared to discuss and debate.

The tutorial presentations: procedure:

(1) If you haven't already, please select a scene, and a passage or focussed topic within that scene (e.g. animal imagery) (ideally, a substantial passage from it), and let Rob and Professor Percy know in writing.

(2) Please give Rob your draft on or before the due date: 2% off per day for late drafts. Please include a xerox of your passage.

(3) Rob will return your draft at the next class. If you're absent, he'll put the draft in the envelope on Prof. Percy's door.

Early Hamlet presenters, note the slightly tight deadlines. If you can email Rob your draft during Reading Week before your official due date, that will make his life and yours much easier!
